Our History

Cambio Group has grown from a freelance venture founded by Cambio Group MD Ian Pinches in 2005. The early focus was contract Lean Six Sigma consultancy in the FS, IT and Telecoms sectors and led to initial award winning results. In 2007 Ian was a founding partner of a re-launch, which expanded the business into Training and Recruitment services.

Since then Cambio Group has grown into the current multi-client, multi-award winning business. Major clients include: Lloyd’s Register, The Health and Safety Executive, Hampshire Constabulary, BAT, Aditya Birla Minacs, Yodel (formerly Home Delivery Network), Hastings Direct, Glen Dimplex, Saint Gobain, Barclays and Heathrow Airport Limited (formerly BAA).

Our Award Winning Work

Since inception in 2007 our Consulting and Training practice has rigorously applied Best Practice to become a World Class operator. As a result, five different Awarding Bodies have recognised our delivery excellence.

Partnering with Lloyd’s Register since November 2007, we have directly contributed towards the winning of multiple IQPC European awards for Process Excellence by providing consultants, training and permanent staff to lead and deliver best in class process excellence transformation.

Our public sector team was Shortlisted by the MCA in April 2009 – ‘Best Public Sector Operational Improvement’ and 'Consultant of the Year' for Lean deployment work at the Health and Safety Executive.
